Gudrun Stangl is managing partner of Schoenherr's Bratislava office. From Slovakia she serves clients across Central and Eastern Europe on (cross-border) private mergers & acquisitions, debt restructuring and corporate finance transactions. She plays a key role in the corporate/M&A practice in Bratislava, which focuses both on transactional as well as day-to-day legal advice to international investors and domestic clients. In recent years Gudrun has been acting on several complex and large scale multi-jurisdictional M&A transactions in the energy, construction and public services sectors. An equally important part of her experience lies in acquisition financings.

Gudrun graduated from the University of Graz (Mag. iur. 1999) and studied for an LL.M at the University of Chicago Law School (2005) and lectures on "International Business Transactions – EU 15" at the MBL program of the University of Salzburg Business School.
